nebraska,

Congratulation! You've got CID 53!

Where did you get R8BC CID53? It's incredible, this FW is available with CID53!

BTW, I've heard that jdflasher partially supports CID53, try it.

And, they say R8BE001 is available but I havent' seen it yet..

nebraska,

Unfortunately, I have no manuals for JF in English but I don't think it'll be too difficult for u to use it. It's about just the same as SEFP but with extended capabilities.

No need to change drivers and so on. Just unpack it to FAR\Plugins and enjoy. And, there is an add-on for JF, about 15MB, which allows it to install patches, read FS, etc. This add-on is a must otherwise the JF itself (1.7MB) will remain just a toy.

I don't know exactly how it works with CID53 but in mine I first installed 'quick access' patch for db2020 via setool2lite, and then installed JF with add-on. Now when I need to extract or write files to the phone I should select 'db2020' in JF box, and to install/uninstall patches - 'qa2020' (feel the difference!).

I'm a noob in JF too but I've already experienced partial gfx replace on my 650 and was a success.

If I find something new on 53 support I'll report

thank you much for your help Xplode
I finally succeed in replacind my camdriver, I had to install "JDflasher_53wrecovery" plugin, and everything was okay.

For the moment I don't need to flash or patch my phone, I just needed to have a better camera driver.

I re-installed Number1 camdriver (v4.75), and I'm wondering if the polish driver (v.5.0) is better or not.

Just curious, but why would you want to replace the cam driver? The stock one is already excellent in almost all aspects except maybe sharpness.

U r welcome!

I'm wondering about the polish one too. Now mine is 4.75.

Concerning JF... I think CID53 is inevitable after all so I need to learn how to handle it too Is that add-on big? And have you got the link to it?

Hi all,

I have a firmware upgrade question. I got my t650 about 5 months ago on ebay (shipped from Hong Kong) and have noticed that the camera produced an awaful lot of 'yellow' shots (especially in slightly poorer light). I've messed about with the settings a bit but can't seem to get it to improve drastically. Is it worth my while trying to upgrade the firmware? And if so, do I have to do anything special/different seeing as its a HK phone I am using?

My current firmware is R7AA024 (noting its HK) with camera software version 4.1

If you need any more firmware information to help me with this question, please le tme know.

Thanks,

Liam
