Couple of mates picked up the W960 yesterday from Vodafone. The only branding seems to be the start up screen, but we managed to convert one to GW1 in a hour with XS++ and SEUS

I have to say after playing with a w960 for an hour or so I would have got one for the 8gb, better camera and more ram (compared to my p990) but the build quality is so poor!!! The stylus is tacky plastic looking plus the horrible white band around the phone! Anyone agree???
And yes use
XS++ to debrand the w960 if you get one

My W960 is one of - if not - the best phones I've had in terms of build quality. It's super with no creaking or anything like that.

The stylus isn't that excellent. There's really only one way to hold it.

Many using p1i are complaining to have squeaking problem.which is better build than w960i Mo .on other w960i is still plasticy do u think it will hold on few days use?I highly doubt not
And i saw ur w960i review,and the green tint is evident in w960i too, can u post more pictures taken with camera of w960i.
When do u think this problem will be fixed.As i See the price set for w960i is not just for walkman alone.It is said to be a multimedia phone,which should be capable of doing everything.Not just playing music

i went to cpw today and used this phone! i want one! it didnt come with bluetooth handsfree as i expected. they said that it can only be purchased on a monthly contract. no price on an offline unit as such yet.

Squeaking problem? What? The build quality of the phone or the stylus? My W960 is as I've said really great in terms of build quality. Only the stylus that feels cheap.
Green tint problem is not serious and should be fixed in firmware update. I'll try to upload more samples.

hi, can u tell me what's GW1? sorry
is it true that it's unlocked even when you bought it from vodafone? why did you have to unbrand it?
