just because they are North American models doesn't mean Cingular will carry them. The P910a is the perfect example of this.

but i don't like those phones you listed! i want more features.
it's cool though, there's probably not a market in the US for a K750 or Z800 type phone with 850MHz. i'll just live with something else.

Love the phone and have had no problems on T-Mobile. I have also seen an increase in reception too; before the Z800i I was using a Z600 and a T68i and still turn them on every now and then just to compare reception. Z800i wins! As to t-zones, I no longer use the service. I had free GPRS for a while and recently changed plans and it is free no more. I used the service more with the Z800 than my previous phones, I think a larger display makes all the difference. If you can get over not being able to use the 3G functions of the phone, its a model worth looking at. Yes, its on the large side for clamshell but all of its features make it seem quite small.

I just came from the T-Mobile Store and the guy said the following: I asked him if they will get any SE phones in. His reply was "No" they had too many problems with the T610. Currently they have 0 SE phones. He also said they won't get the D750 nor any other smart phones in. They do not replace the Nokia 6600 witht the 6680 adn they discontinued the HP 6315 also. Right now they are doing financially good and have the best plans in the business. I told him their phones suck and he agreed. Then I showed him my P900 to make him feel very bad. Also they have EDGE built into their network, but wait to launch it. That is the latest what I heart.

I agree, you can't beat T-Mobiles plans. The same can be said about the Powertel and Voicestream days. I wish TMO would take a leap into the 3G arena though. T-Mobile was known for having some of the best phones in the business despite the limited service areas. Coverage area has improved but the phones no longer set T-Mobile apart from the pack. I understand the economics behind their current decisions and wouldn't be surprised to see a power play by Q4-05 or Q1-06, but it won't be 3G.

It is very minimal. You would have to use your minutes plan, most of the time. There are no rollover minutes. If you don't use them ,you lose them. Not the case with Cingular's rollover minutes.
Take my plan 850 peak minutes / Free Mobile to Mobile / Unlimited free nights and weekends. I use about 400 - 500 minutes a month.
My rollover minutes balance is at 5,800 , which means I don't watch my minutes when I'm on the phone during peak time. I just talk away with out a care. Try that on T-Mobile plans.
Their reception sucks, That's why I dropped them several years ago.
