Let us hope they out do Microsoft with the mobile arena or they don't get bought out soon. You wouldn't want to see you P800 with a blue screen and telling you to "press any key to restart" or with a "fatal exception error" message.
@Gowin
Nokia 7650, how do you rate it compared to the T68i?

For me, a pda/phone combo has to have these features: 1.numerous 3rd party sw (as i'm a software junkie) & 2. Power/speed to run those apps. Otherwise its just a glamorized addressbook & notepad tablet.

After all of this talk about Symbian OS for the P800, it lead me to a question what OS does our T68i run?

@mozilla168
If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to add to your list the self-upgrade OS wherein we download the patch off the net. And multi-tasking of SW apps running.

Wow the Symbian OS is looking good. I really just do hope it will have good software support, stability, and expandability. PPC gained ground on the Palm OS because of the amazing feature and good software support. If such will be the case for the P800 then I can hardly wait.

I'll still choose an ipaq 3975 with the gsm jacket over anything else for the year 2002.

@rj, using an IPAQ as a phone is like using a phone w/ a 1-hour battery.
