More on prices...looks like its really between 650 and 750 euros

The only thing that is important and interesting right now is the launch date and the price of the P990i.
We have enough of photos, videos, specification sheet and showcasing of the P990i during exhibitions.

I agree. but (as always) no one actually knows the launch date or when it will really be available so all this going around in circles just adds to the frustration so I thought we might take our mind off that topic by getting back to the device itself

Btw has anyone read anything about being able to use the photo light as a flashlight at all? I saw a friend's wxxx and it had this feature which I kinda missed from my old k700 (going into the camera app doesn't count of course)

I agree, but us kiddies are getting soooooo excited!!!!!! and there really is nothing very concrete to discuss at present.
The one thing I feel we can all be absolutly certain of, is that it will be B***dy expensive IF it does every see the light of day!!!!!!!

But even that isn't SE themselves as such. It is actually just an SE branded store run by DataSelect. The date they have given has been June for a long time.
There has been discussion recently because of rumours of delays and various other retailers giving completely different and inconsistent timescales for availability. If they all agreed on similar dates then there would be no confusion or questions as to when the device will land. Right now dates have floated around between next Monday and as late as August.
