guys i have a s60 phone with this trick everything works except for my opera mini browser , my opera6.0 browser works perfectly.. opera mini just connects and stays idle.
first i connect to airtel live then go to live streaming choose cnbc then real one player connects to airtel live 2 then i get every thing to work except for opera mini
opera mini asks for which to connect airtel live or airtel live2 which should i choose
has it anything to do with java and sis applications coz opera mini is java and opera6.0 is a .sis application....
any ideas people
help please

i think its because opera mini user its own proxy server instead of airtel's. Unless you have full gprs, you wont be able to connect to other proxies.
On the other hand opera for s60 uses the proxy specified in the connection account.

@niranjan yes you are right... The java opera connects to its own server to open any site.. So if by the limited Gprs one can normally surf wap.yahoo.co.in then he need to connect the full Gprs (any how.. Either by trick or mo)... So whatever site you wanna open it offer to connects to its own server and then opens the sites...

All the applications stop using the net if the speeds are very low.. Like 11kbps...or low. .. This has been my personal experience.. I think it is also possible tat the applications may be trying to use some other port which the server didn't allowed.. Becoz when someone makes the default access point.. Then the settings only requires the apn and nothing else.. Not the ip nor port.. Well it happens in my 3220
