i think you may have an argument there...as eomer claim, it will be a X1 refresh...and as hinted by M-R, it is quite a beauty....

@Se_love
Come on now, be realistic! SE sucks! It has lost so much ground that even Samsung is pissing all over it. Hell, LG is taking pot shot at SE! Soon Motorola will rise above SE if things go this way.
Look at my signature, I loved this brand (mostly because of Ericsson) and that was justified as they were leading.
Look at their portfolio, it is pathetic to say the least. You write about 'a do it all phone', well, Nokia has had that for a long while only to be dethroned by Samsung. What ha SE come up with that distinctly challenges the N95? NOTHING!!!
Look at the excuse that is the X1, it barely surpasses an old phone like the E90. Samsung deserve the number 2 spot which in all honesty should have been SE's. They (Samsung) are innovative and are pushing Nokia hard. If there ever was a manufacturer that could topple Nokia it is Samsung.
I hate Samsung phones but I will admit that they have done brilliantly!
Honestly, I would love for Sony to call it quits even if it means Ericsson doesn't come back- though I wish they would return. The name Ericsson has been tarnished enough by this now fruitless joint venture and it pains me. I hear you say Sonys as well, they have been going down for quite a while by themselves so this doesn't really affect much.
Oh! Ericsson will not die because of this joint venture, their business lies in network infrastructure. They made the decision to pull out of this segment because it no longer was profitable for them plus it makes up less than 20 percent of their core business.
This partnership has become like a bad and unhappy marriage that only leads to divorce so might as well be.

LOL, isn't that the exact same response SE gave when questioned about there support for UIQ? Then they dumped it a few months later!
So far we have a ton of feature phones from LG.
A ton of the same from Samsung and some huge smart phones.
Lord knows about HTC but the cameras are crap anyway.
Garmin showing some new ones but again the cameras aren't much but the M20 is the perfect size.
The Palm Pre looks amazing but has no software support yet.
The same for the G1 Android although they are saying the next G1 will be at the show and it'll ditch the keyboard so may be worth a look cause the G1's huge!
Nokia are rumoured to be showing new S60 touch devices, I'm hoping for a thin N series cause I may buy it if it is.
Toshiba are launching a pocket TV, oops sorry, a stupidly massive smarty phone.
And SE, 3 feature phones so far that don't have touch? Now what I expect SE to launch is perhaps 2 additional smart phones, both running WinMo 6.1 with not much change of the interface and built in house, with decent camera's.
Not long to go now before we find out though....
