gilthoniel->from what u describe it must be hardware fault so i dun think software upgrade will solve ur problem, i maybe wrong so just bring it to ur nearest SE and ask them to do a check
one more thing, tony have SE done something abt 10 secs pressing "NO" button will off the phone evethough it's in keypad lock mode ???
and what do u think abt the issue that i brought up abt the save number pop up ???

And I will also ask them what is R2F sw about. Whether is it related to the soft message alert tone.

hmm... so how.. what is the R2F abt ?? i may be going down this week to fix my HBH 15 .. the same problem with the distortion still happen .. aft they chk and change a new head set ... damn .. WTF are they doing ..

As in Singapore, we should be able to get it upgraded within this 1 or 2 weeks and it is just for coinciding with the enhancement to our radio network. Nothing great. 2. I have done a physical check with the SC and I can confirmed the duration of saving a new number into the phone book through the message alert as you have mentioned, it takes about 1-2 sec after pressing save to exit and go back to the main screen. Quite fast.

Go back and complain to them again. Let them cracked their head. Infact this is my 3rd new HBH15. The last two was giving me big headache, lots of complained from the other party. Distortion, interruption, soft tone... Untill this current one than it is okay. Hopefully the fault won't come back again.
