I have to agree with REO about Cingular's overall superiority here. My rollover balance is somewhere around 6,000 as well, and it will last for up to 13 months. I will soon downgrade my plan and begin to eat away at my rollover minutes. Once those are gone, I will bring my plan back up to what I need.

Only way T-Mobile is superior is in data rates, but they are being bitches about SMS fees and don't have the amazing deals on unlimited GPRS anymore. So I suppose they are losing the advantage there too.

Your points are well taken, and I agree with you both about Cingular having a superior overall coverage area, but TMO has significantly improved over the years and has better coverage in my area. As far as rate plans go, TMO has Cingular beat in my case at least. I use 2300-2500 minutes per month not including Mobile 2 Mobile, and use my phone as a modem on a month by month basis. I looked into Cingular but there was just too much uncertainty surrounding the plans with my usage. Plus, the SE phones I buy arent 800mhz so I would be taking another risk using Cingular.

I agree with all you guys. The only reason I am with Cingular is the coverage and b/c I am with Cingular, I always carry my T616 as a back up because all of their new towers are supposed to be 850 MHz. I am gonna wait till my contract runs out in a year (hoping TMO will have better coverage by then) & then think of switching to TMO b/c I prefer the non 850 MHz phones & most of the better SE's are non 850 MHz.

I have a P910a and I remember someone asking this question back in the day. I ran a test myself and the answer was yes, it does have a character limit when syncing calendar appointments. But, it was way more characters than I could ever see myself needing or using. The limit was pretty high. As it turns out Outlook has a limit too, its just not a limit anyone will ever reach.

It's about 100 - 150 characters on the S710 if I'm not mistaken. It's ok for personal use. If I synch at work, it's a problem, as some outlook invites are for conference calls and provide detailed agendas of what will be discussed. I'm not able to synch entire messages at times depending on the content.

I could see now, how they would not pick up the D750 or any other SE phones.
