No. At that time, I entered correct IP & Port and it was working. All app's which have proxy option will work on the specified ports. I told the reason on my one of previous posts.

I was using Opera Mini(Norway Version. At that time, it was not in english) on Nokia 6100. It was working fine with our Brute force method and MMS APN. I will search for that file on my computer(My hard-disk is 200GB. So it will take time ) If found then I will post that so you all can test it.

These days speed is almost dead in day time, is every1 facing the same problem?

During peak hours what speed u r getting on N70 dude? even on N6630 am not getting a normal speed in peak hours.

@alan i was talkin about the opera mini meant for java midp 2.0 that version doesn't creates its own settings but uses the default apn ... Only the apn and not any ip or port.... @stayback as this trick has spread like a jungle fire so its obvious you will see a decrease in speed... Start lookin for a new trick.. Who knows some day your neighbour too starts using it and finally the entire neighbourhood ...so start thinkin and look for new ones.. As it is said necessity creates discovery... Now only 40-45kbps in peak hours. Yes It's down from last 5 days. I was receiving 50kbps.

You can make opera mini to work with this method. . . . Just follow these steps:)
1. Use spartan's method 2 to enable access to all sites on ur phone browser.
2. NOW DONT CLOSE UR PHONE BROWSER
3. Goto mini.opera.com or opera.siemens-club.org and do a fresh download of opera mini.
4. After downloading when it asks if you wanna start opera mini, just say yes.
5. Now you should be able to browse all sites in opera mini.
The trick here is to have opera mini and the phone browser being kept on together. The only annoyin part is that we need to fresh download opera mini from phone browser each time you wanna use it. But if you dont clear the phone browser cache , downloadin opera mini occurs in a flash. The same method can be used for any java application that needs wap internet access.

#method# 2

1.download modded opera mini
2.before doing spartans trick start modified opera mini , ie before phones original browser
3.then click any book mark after sometime you wil get an error
4.there is an option in the utilities named background go minimise the application, click that.
5.then open the original browser n do spartans trick remember opera mini mod is stil working in the background
6.after loading any page close the browser and immideately go to applications then it wil ask opera mini is running do you want to macimise or stop
7.press maximise then you can load any page

i have some probs with opera mini both original and mod
most of the times {happens especially when the network is congestesd} it wil show a "network error" and crashes and closes automatically and histoty is lost

plese tell me why is it happening
