Nice to hear that bytes. I got the same functionality with my P990. Amazing phone. Also not bulky at all for me because I need this kind of a beautiful big screen and querty. With touch scren it is a perfect combination IMO.
Hope other guys will solve their problems. We'll see what will new fw bring to us.

Not entirely suprising since GPRS, 3G, BT, and WLan all appear to be switched off almost certainly meaning those OS components don't load at boot.
With mine a few minutes after a fresh boot it will show around 15.7MB free and I have GRPS, 3G, BT, and WLan all enabled.

I don't believe you can - at least I have never found a way. Your best bet is to install Swiss Manager - either the free or Pro version which will tell you how much free RAM is available.

I can live with most of the bugs but my battery is really starting to annoy me.
Firstly I've got 3G and Wifi turned off.
After a charge, it is happily at 100% and it slowly creeps down to 50% with normal use at an acceptable rate.
After that, the decline from 50-5% is roughly 5 hours without the phone being used at all. As in I go to bed, it has 50%, by morning the alarm doesn't go off because the battery is dead!
Is anyone else suffering from ridiculous battery life mis-reporting?

@rossyrox
Presume by 'with normal use at an acceptable rate' you mean a few calls, texts, maybe some web browsing...
I have 3G and Wifi and BT off. With use ( daily say 10-15 mins phone calls, quite a fewtexts, using PDA functions , browsing internet ) my battery lasts 2-3 days.
( BST 33 by the way )
Your battery life does sound unnaturally short..
