Ok that's how I did my homepage using the NTL tutorial and Terrapin. In fact I've actually paid the registration and am now (as of yesterday) registered with terrapin.
Could be your firewall have you tried disabling it and trying again to see? if not i will get the settings for you from mine but it set itself up for me.
BTW Chris/mixin - have got my serrif to save as htm!
tried to publish my very early stage site as a test but all the links were mesed up! But at least i can do it now!
