I don't understand what do you want guys, by the way, all the info is based on speculations.
yes my source hasn't seen an option to shoot 4k videos, but maybe they will ad it before launch?
we try our best to give all of us info, because its nice, but don't judge people if they are wrong!
ramu gave us pretty accurate info months before the launche! and a lot of it is pretty solid
like the 20mpx, s800, xreality triluminos 3000mha g lens and dual speaker waterproofness similar look to the Z ecc ecc...
so he got it bad on the sensor size.. whats wrong with you??
its a RUMOR THREAD, if you behave like that, you don't belong here, and my self and other leakers may stop leaking or posting info that we have/get from another people.

Ramu also hinted about an upcoming lens accessory and labeled it XR5 but some people raised eyebrows and questioned the reliability of the info, with some saying it won't come, but then a month later Andrea at SAR revealed an "SR6" info about a lens accessory that's more impressive than we've ever imagined. but then people have seem to forgot that the info first came here from the same author of this thread.

Some peoples just won't accept the fact that this is a rumor thread, some have sources which they just report us of they know... being a true info or not it's not their fault...

second thing, as an unfinished device... spec. might change in a day and night... you must accept this fact

third thing, Sony secretively adds some uncertainty to any info if it's not confirmed, see both 1/2.3 and 2/3 has the same numbers ( 2 and 3 ).. it might be one of them but do to the secretively procedures the correct number is not out or there's multiple numbers to put the real one under the cover...

respecting all insiders with their sources is a must for every one watching and discussing in the thread...

I think we should put a role in this thread ( and 2014 thread also ) that bashing is forbidden... these guys did their work of bringing and finding the info for you, and might also did some big promises to their sources that we don't know...

his source confirmed an info with value X as XR5 and the other guy source confirmed the same info as value Y as XR5... in this thread we must accept both values... it's a rumor thread after all... and we thank everyone who shared these info with us...

Sony 1/3, 13 Mp sensors for mobile phones are most selled in the word.
Even ZTE in zte nubia has 13mp sony sensor BUT ZTE manages to produce better images than Sony xperia Z.

In comparation sony put in their sony xperia Z flagship just same sensor but.. plastic lens (not the advanced tech). Even the flash is mediocre..Also the jpeg compression engine is a.. little disaster.

I think sony deliberately don't want to squeeze more from image sensor's in their smartphones to not hurt their point'and'shot sales.
Even the last irelevant chinese smartphone manufacturer can squeeze more from a sony 13 sensor than sony can in their own smartphones..

Point-and-shoot cameras are DOA nowadays. One should not worsen image quality on purpose for the sake of keeping the dying pocket cameras branch alive. With a similar thinking Sony lost the Walkman battle because they tried to prevent free sharing which would eventually harm the sales of Sony Music and Sony Pictures Entertainment. They should have learned this lesson by now!

Guys, you need to appreciate the process also. My friends at Sony have shown me and told me about many amazing features and technology that they are working with, crazy design and things that would wow everyone but can all that be put into a package and sold now? Sony could spend a year working on the 20MP camera but if there is the slightest hint that there are complications, they will switch to a safe 13MP camera and release the thing. You can't put a product out there if it is sub-standard or not ready if it will harm Sony and let customers down. Sony have a time frame too and a budget. Every company can produce a 'God' phone but it wouldn't be made in the best way so ultimately it would fail. Anyone who has purchased a Nokia 1020 will know that in the box there is a piece of paper that warns you that the camera mechanism makes a sound when working and not to be scared.

Give Sony a break, let them do their thing. Give each other a break, there is no thread without the likes of Ramu and co. No pictures, no info, no nothing. We already lost PeterKay who gave us the legendary P1 leaks. Lets keep this thread going, I can safely tell you that Honami will not disappoint and same goes for what follows in the month after.

just like Sony have announced a new RGBW sensor and later realized that it will not deliver the output they expect and returned to regular RGB. I still believe Honami will still be one of the best if not the best this year on hardware and I believe its in the Sony software developers hands this time. Let's wait what Sony can offer because today even small fancy trick matters. There will always be compromizes, I always wished a loud and amazing sound speakers from Sony but I also love water resistance. I love thin phones but I also love long battery life. Sony has its own values and vision. Were in the situation that other companies were before. Wishing and Hoping that there beloved brand will put a check on everyones checklist for a dream phone.The once mighty SE and even Nokia struggling this time but slowly regaining some momentum. Till now nothing is certain maybe Kaz is reading the thread by this time and produce limited edition Honami 2/3 sensor for members who are in this thread. Wish all the best for Sony

First of all, let me say sorry if I may had said something offensive to anyone, especially ramu.

Second, I've only been here for a year and I am not aware of how things were here way back. For a year, I've seen the rumors, leaks, even the small talks, and the amazement of the members and how appreciative everyone is for our sources, moderators and admins. There's also the trolls, the bashing, the cold winter of rumorless nights, the bad days of the the thread. But here it still is, welcoming more pages of mixed thingys.

And now, I've never seen this thread go so low. I just hope everyone recovers from this. I think we should leave for a while and let this pass, then come back when we've flushed out this bad memory.

And ramu, come back!
