I have been silently following this thread the entire year and have really enjoyed reading this thread everyday lol but recently things got a bit hectic in here....people are taking things waaay too seriously. I mean we all (or at least most of us) are here because we are big fans of Sony and appreciate their products so why cant we all just get along and share our thoughts/ideas and rumours regarding our favourite brand Sony.
Anyway a bit more topic related....I hope Honami has same design feature as Z ultra in terms of having ports that are uncovered while still being water and dust proof. I dont mind the flaps covering the ports on my Z but just think it looks pretty nice without the flaps.
Is the only difference between a IP57 and an IP58 rated device is the amount of exposure it can handle????So a device with an IP58 rating can be submerged for longer...or what??

i would really like to see sony announce Honami and Honami mini at the same time...kinda like how Motorola announced the Droid Line-up...pretty much same device...in different size and battery spec...people can choose based on their needs

with IP57 the device is water resistant and not waterproof, but you can immerse it to 1m for 30 mins.
with IP58 the device will be labeled as completely waterproof and evrey comapny rate how much deepnes and time the device could handle, for example in the case of the xperia ZR/Z ULTRA/XPERIA they can handle a submerge of 1.5 m for 30 min.
the IP58 devices are better protected than ip57 in terms of higher pressures, but both of them are fine to use in the pool for example.

Just like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10/X10 mini/X10 mini pro.
Does anyone think the Honami will release with Android 4.3, which was officially announced today by Google; right at the phone's release?

I have been here since 2005 and have been a silent visitor in recent times. I have had all SE and Sony flagship since K750 and am currently using the Z. The thread has always been like a homeless guy, someone or the other comes to feed him every now and then, following which, everyone associated with the guy(thread) is happy. That is what happened earlier. Nowadays people have started demanding the truth, something which was never guaranteed and wont ever be.
Randomuser has pretty much got everything spot on about the Xperia Z ultra, from the screen size to the screen to the bloody stylus. No credit. He gets a sensor size wrong and people are on his back. So tell me, if you are an average user how would you know the sensor size of the HTC One or the S4? Yes. You wont know. It is the picture quality that matters.
And there are other around here, like the guy from South Africa, who posts only when there is doom and gloom in the thread or he has a chance to bash Sony. So is it like that in real life? Do you skip glorious events like birthdays and weddings and attend funerals to take the mickey out of the deceased?
@other '"insiders". Using this as a platform to glorify your sources wont isnt exactly the most gentlemanly thing to do.
Anyways, seems like the rumour thread will be dry for some time. The most active insider has been kicked out. Now try bashing Sony because they are not leaking information out or lets start talking about the PS4.

@aurelius, @Ambroos, I know the things are rough here, and that I asked this probably a week ago, or a bit more, but any other news on 4.2.2 for Tablet Z? (4.2+ or 4.1.2 button layout, if you saw it) If no, just say it... Sorry for bothering...
@everyone else: I won't get much into this, as a lot has been said already, but as unknown said: Info changes, and developement has many stages. Probably ramu's info was early, and they changed it and he wasn't aware of that. Just it. So chill out, everyone. No need to bash him like those who did.
