@jjjimy - er..what about WiFi? What about the 3D graphics support, what about the real-time OS, new ActiveSync, etc..and its goes on. If you don't want it don't buy it.

WiFi can only work on GSM/3G off!
Can missed GSM/3G phone calls forward to ur voip number when u use WiFi? @@
Is it a phone or PSP/iPod alternative? Believe phone call is priority 1 to biz user.....
.
What the real-time OS means to end user?
.
ActiveSync can sync OutLook which I have it on P910 already....
.
3D graphics support can make PSP game run over P990??
.
It's just discuss from end user point of view, no need that emotional oh.
.
my point is doubt SE pay such effort n delayed time for just bring not too much end user advantage....
sorry that st8 forward cos I'm loyal P user from P800

@jjjimmy

No - Activesync is the M$ version which includes over the air sync!

No - I am business user and I have used an XDA Exec with WiFi and it is useful to have with 3G & GMS

No - Real-time OS means better performance and improved multi-tasking, which will be experienced by the user

Okay - so what did you want from the P990? If it does not meet your requirements buy another device or two.

@jjjimmy

I bought the XDA Exec and i-Mate JJ (yes both) on the specs and was very disappointed. You really need to try these sohphisticated devices yourself to see if they work for you. The reviews of the XDA Exec/JJ were very biased and were not based on real usage day-to-day. So here we are at Esato and we share information so that hopefully others don't make the expensive mistakes we have made. Don't go away - share views and facts.

I'm very early user for P800/P900/P910 within 1st week released.
do agree SE is better choice for phone + PDA feature
M$ still try to put computer even not pratical in ur hand but did not solve battery n bug problem
.
Just tell my feeling that dun see too many exciting feature than P910 , cos we just expect a phone with some appreciated PDA feture.
No matter how, phone is a phone, Notebook still there, I won't put every thing on P990
.
If SE give me chocie that I will go for something like P900 -> P910 with tiny upgrade but can be market on time , cos my heavily used battery n jog wheel is almost .....

' jjjimmy, I dunno if your misconceptions are based primarily or solely on your experiences with a prototype - but I can GUARANTEE you that several of the statements you've made and quoted as \"fact\" are NOT fact!!! The WIFI only working in isolation issue being one great example.

' Dude, do some more research and reading before drawing half-baked, incomplete and uninformed conclusions, please?

' Of course if there's another phone out there (or \"coming soon\") that DOES cater for what exactly you want / expect then I'd love to know what it is... Hehe.

' <Smiles> This message isn't meant as a flame or rebuke or anything - just a wake-up call used to point out the incorrect impressions you have about the device!
