wait sorry just worked it out, right click anywhere on the desktop then select show view options

I thought it was a leopard thing too, but I upgarded to leopard a few days ago and it didn't change, so I wondered.

Right to start with, I had to wait over a week for delivery, I don't like waiting.
Secondly, it kept coming with errors on set up, took over a hour and a half to do a basic set up that should have taken 2-3 min.
And people complain it's slow, but no one really puts a time scale on it. Basically to copy 1gb it takes well over a hour, not lets put this into practical terms, for my 250gb hd to do a full backup it will take about 280 hours or almost 5 days straight. It's so slow I don't think you can even stream a movie from it.
This is one of those ideas that is really good, but the actual technology is so far behind

Luke are you backing up OTA ? are you running on (N) or (G), obviously you can understand that the initial sync OTA at (G 54Mbps) or (N 125Mbps) vs 400Mbps USB is going to take time. I suggest you you do the initial sync via USB and the incremental via OTA. That should make a big difference but I agree the initial sync does take time.
Give it one more try and let it sync via USB and when done see how fast things are.

whats the point when I will have the other half filled with files that takes me ages to access?
If I wanted to use usb I would have bought an cheap external hd...
anyone want to buy my tc from me? 3 days old as new fully boxed £195? If not it's going back to apple
