If you still can't find it, the box or manual usually tells you what is meant to be in the box and unless the people you bought it from have said already that there won't be one in there, then you should send/take it back or question them on it...

There was never supposed to be an M2 included with the phone. There is no mention of one being included on the SE website. SE Phones that do come with a memory card usually say so on on the phone spec on SE's website.

Yeah you can buy them, direct off sony or expansys, also seen a quite a few 1gb M2's on ebay usually with a buy now price of around 35-40 quid.
