Hi there T650 owners!

I'm keen to hear your comments on the CDS-75 desktop stand - whether you think it would be worthwhile purchasing as an accessory if it doesn't come included with the W980 when released.

@carkitter, if thats not the one with the adjustable height, I'd watch out. It may not fit the W980 if the fastport is too high up on the phone.

CDS-71 comes with T650 and is not adjustable. CDS-75 is adjustable and lists W980 as compatible:

Aha! Just as well I asked, I didn't know there was more than one version.
Thanks!

I've been experiencing a problem with my T650i, lately. When I press the side camera button of my phone, the shutdown menu sometimes appear instead of proceeding to camera mode. It usually happens when I press the part of the button that's nearer to the middle of the phone (length-wise). What's worse is that sometimes when I'm composing a shot and I press the button half way to enable auto-focus, the phone shuts down.

I have already tried changing the camera driver and done several master resets, thinking that it might just be a software glitch, but they were to no avail. Even exercising the switch (thinking it might just be trapped dust) didn't yield any difference.

I called our local SE service center yesterday and the person I talked to said that the keypad might need to be replaced since, according to her, the camera button is connected to it. Is that true or does the camera button have its own mini switch?

If anyone has an idea about my phone's problem or if anyone has already experienced this on his/her phone, your inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I should also mention that my phone is still under warranty. That is why I didn't try disassembling it to check inside.

I just came from our local SE service center where I had my T650's UI board replaced. Everything's back to normal now. The side camera button doesn't access the shutdown menu anymore.

Below is the part that was replaced. Integrated on its right side is the switch for the side camera button.

And she was right it seems! She appears very knowledgeable for a CSR; what country are you in?
