What do you want new firmware to do? The usual touch things?

Way lower battery consumption (My Aino running the Unlimited theme reduces battery from 100% to 92% in 30minutes) and it only lasts 1.5 days. I listen to music average of 3 hours daily. no wifi usage, 20 text messages a day.

Better speed and camera performance.

No problem, sir.

I actually read the review and its surprising that they have reviewed the phone in its old firmware. look at their video review and some screenshots, you'll see the facebook icon on the bottom right part of the screen, and that's where the search icon is located now. and they only have 2 games pre-installed instead of having 3 in the newer firmware

The bt-robot just show other bt units in your phones range. Just drain your battery and are just useless.

I never tried it around other BT devices. Don't think I will either.
