Er... well, the Vivaz has a rather controversial design. I actually quite like Yendo's design - a bigger, yet thinner version would be ideal. The X10's design is also still rather nice.

I think these are the last lo be released this year. The next announcements are for next year releases. These are all crap by the way. Its not really acceptable in this day and age for them to lack AF and flash. Phone lacking such basics should cost no more than £40.
About the Android 2.1 updates, 2.2 is a massive improvement over 2.1. The X10 is a great bit of kit and
plans to sell it for as long as possible but not having 2.2 really shortens its lifespan. There are many phones now similar to X10 but none with such a good camera or looks but as new stuff comes out, people will definitely go for 2.2 devices. Do you honestly think that they will even bother with 2.2? A year after release, they should be ready with a successor leaving current X10 owners in the dark.
I don't think you'll be seeing high end Cybershots and Walkmans anymore. Those days are gone.

Tragic
Ive never owned a non ericsson/Sony Ericsson phone. Currently looking at the Nokia N8 and the Motorola MILESTONE XT720 (and possibly SE Elm, but its much pricier in the states.)

Sigh... I knew this day would come
SE isn't really competing with other manufacturers (except perhaps the X10 if the price is right) in the smartphone arena so what is their plan here?
