Yes, its on the large side for clamshell but all of its features make it seem quite small.
Thanks for replying!
How is it to hold in your hand when using it, up to your ear or when browsing? Is it heavy? How does it feel in your hand? Easy to hold?
Might as well get all my browsing in while I wait for Dennis, SOB. Hope all is well for those of you in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia. I am 60 miles north of the Gulf Coast and am prepared for the worse.
On to the phone, I am very tall 6'4" so it fits in my hand perfectly. When closed it is pretty close to the size of a T68i. It feels very sturdy compared to my Z600 and Razr both of which seen slight after holding the Z800i. Sound quality is excellent, even on 0 I can still hear the person I am talking to. Speaker quality is also great. The phone is on the heavier side I'll find something to compare it to weight wise at a later date. It can be used with one the wrist cord things that a lot of people use, but it does not come with one. It fits perfectly into a Louis Vuitton iPod case and unless you need to walk around with more than 2gb of music can replace an iPod. The large screen made browsing a lot easier than what I was use to. Its easy to use one or both hands while browsing. The price has dropped drastically, almost 50%, since I got mine and is pretty reasonable now. Hope this helps

Thanks for that excellent review on size. I think I will get one. Any recommendations where I should buy it? Places I've looked are eBay and myworldphone.com
?

flew out to Jersey yesterday and spent the day in New York city. I'll post a pic of Times Square later.
Really I'm out here to see my grandmother. She's not doing so well.

T-Mobile US for Sale, soon?
http://www.mobileburn.com/news.jsp?Id=1468&source=SIDEBAR
Deutsche Telekom would be stupid if they sold T-Mobile USA considering it's their company that has the fastest growth and biggest profits.
That is right, but for how long. The T-mob sales ppl say, that they do not see a clear direction the company is going.

I agree! T-Mobile USA has to make a decision soon where they want to go. Are they going to invest in UMTS or stay a basic low-cost voice provider? Will DT put the company on the market or make major investments?
As for now, it seems like they are just playing the old "wait and see" game. It sure is a good thing they are still doing well.
I do hope DT keeps T-Mobile USA and make some investments. I would hate to see them go somewhere else. I love the T-Mobile support!
