@K71: My dad's magazine is nothing special. It is a 30 page colour magazine of children's writing which he publishes twice yearly to showcase the work done in his writing school. I do all the layout, editing, colouring and images and attempt to add some style to what I think is a pretty drab magazine!
I get paid so it's all good.
I hope its cool that I used your photo mate. Its a nice shot!
Unfortunately on Esato, we can't change link colours so we're stuck with the grey/blue coloured links. It doesn't look too bad on my screen but I can see what you're getting at, and I think the only fix is to change the image again!
Perhaps the main header image could be change every now and then to show off some of our fine mobile photography talent? Unfortunately though, to get the text to show up clearly, the image has to be 50% transparent, so it depends on whether you guys want your images like that.

yeah its fine to use any of my pictures, it was just nice to see one being used!!
when i saw the conditions with half shadow/half glaring reflection, i thought it would be a good test for the camera.the main problem is picking which area to focus on.
even thought that magazine might be a small publication, its still very good experience to be able to set something like that up.be good to have on your c.v. in the future. and getting paid for it too!! parents can often be good like that eh?
pity about the links colour, but i guess it isn't too big a deal overall.

Yeah, the colour of the sea and sky look amazing too. And I love the old Tug boat. Some of the best shots taken in New Zealand are of seascapes.
Ah I should stick the magazine on my CV! I hadn't thought of that! Hopefully if they look the magazine up they don't find any of the terrible looking older copies from before I was working on it!
And maybe the next image I stick up on the first page will work better with the link colour. I'm going to be looking for a summery scene to suit the post's summery makeover!

Am I missing something?
The first post still has frankthetank's Mt Cook image from where I stand and the Map is still a work in progress. I don't see any images or links to images for K71's photos. ???

Its gonna be my back-up phone! Like if I'm going out somewhere I wouldn't wanna take my C902, and for work where I also don't like taking my C902 (we've had a few thefts of staff property and our customers are pretty dodgy folk).
Haven't received it yet but I'm hoping it arrives in the next few days. I got my lanyard today and will post everything in the "What I got from Playtime" thread when its all here!

Lol my hairdresser has a C702. He has the black one and I must say real ones look really really nice (no the dummies). I had a chat with him and he said he traded in his old S60 Nokia for the C702 because S60 was too unreliable and buggy.
