Yeah, but wouldn't it make more sense for you to be able to pause the song even if the handsfree isn't connected?
That means if I wanted to pause a song and I'd minimized the media player, I'd have to go to the menu, go to media player, go to My Music and then click Pause... seems a bit of a pain if you've got to pause it in a rush.

this would be less of a pain but u could use the Activity button>resume application>pause... though it would take the same number of clicks.. i agree- there sould have been a quicker way to pause the music and resume from standby..

I think it's very strange that the SE W800 has a flight mode while the SE K750 hasn't. These phones are essentially the same phone. They are probably using close to the same firmware.
For many different reasons it's definitely a very good functionality to have, in any mobile phone.

Personally, I think the W800 looks rather garish, especially with the orange sides. I much prefer the stylish looks of the K750.
Anyhoo..
You think I should upgrade on 02 to a K750, or get a new contract? I'm on Online 200 at the moment..

Sorry, i thought you meant sms alert, don't know about delivery report as i don't get them on O2.
Go into Messaging, select Settings, then Text Message. Delivery report on and off is the 7th option (last one)

I actually prefer, much prefer in fact, the sound quality of the K750i over my 4th gen ipod!. Could be down to two things, either that i'm a sucker for the mega bass you get on Sony's, or maybe it's that the SE buds are better than the crummy white apples one's.

But O2 do not support Delivery Reports.
You have to type *0# before every SMS to get a network report for the SMS.
@ nabraxas, maybe SE chose the media player not to start up without the handsfree because they didnt want the phone to start the media player up every single time the button was pressed accidentally whilst in your pocket. Imagine it if it did, everytime you check your phone it would be playing music to itself - wasting battery life. Or worse, the phone might start playing music through the loudspeaker at random moments !
@ bico, we refer to it as a flight mode, but really its not. The W800i only has very limited functions when the phone is off.
@ gr3gg0, the K750i's MP3 playback is very good, and much louder than the K700i before it. Also, without a sim card the phone wouldnt start up, you need a sim card inserted at all times.
Whether the phone would work on your band im not so sure about. Its a tri band phone, but usually they dont work on the 850 frequency AFAIK. You'd probably have to wait for the K750a (the American version), if it even exists.
