Perhaps, you can edit the theme with themes creator and make it suit your screen. Also pics can be resized using a computer before uploaded to phone.

You can customize equilizers with LCG Jukebox.
Personally, I'm quite satisfied with Megabass preset, I don't see how it can get any better than this. You can also try Sound Mod Lite by Swmail to make your headset volume really loud.

Hi Guys

I recently got a G900 (woot!). So far, all is good, bar some internet-related issues (which may be due to being on Vodafone??) that I was hoping for some help with. In fact, I'm wondering if my internet is even setup correctly - I'm pretty new to mobile internet, and even newer to UIQ. But I did download the Vodafone Contract settings for Internet/MMS.

So.... several pages I've tried going to aren't working, and/or view terribly - www.cineworld.com (doesn't work) www.youtube.com (blank page) www.nationalrail.co.uk (views bad!) and even www.live.vodafone.co.uk (views bad - no pics or colours!).

Is this just because these pages just don't work on 3G mobiles/G900? I've only recently started using mobile internet (and this is my first UIQ), but so far even my old K800 does a better job!!!....welll....it views Vodafone live at least lol.

Other than that, it seems to be top notch - no bugs or owt touchwood!!

Cheers for any help!!

PS - did anyone figure out what had to be downloaded, to be able to write full words (rather than just single letters) in handwriting recognition?

Ok just noticed I can get on Youtube and Cineworld when connected via WiFi, so guess they were just too data intensive for 3G.

However I have the usual problem of videos on Youtube aren't working. Bad times!

youtube should work on 3g. On my O2 G900 the internet settings they sent me had gprs and mobile web. Use mobileWeb. Do you have unlimited data usage as youtube will cost a fortune. push -

control panel/connectivity/internet accounts/groups/internet/

then just add accounts you have

I use

1. Home (wifi)
2. O2 Mobileweb

and are you getting 3G on status bar ?

Hey mate

Just found out my Fring app doesnt connect on 3G either, have to use WLAN! (kinda ruins the point!)

Looked at my internet settings, I have:
1) my home wifi
2) Contract WAP (setup to Vodafone)

Im guessing my 3G settings aren't set up properly (or some kinda incoming connection is being blocked), but then many sites run absolutely fine. Not sure what to do!

Ehem.. as you know you CAN'T edit the statusbar or the "bottom bar" to be transparent, so i don't understand why to edit the theme. The theme is fine, but when you set the wallpaper, it opens up a window so you can resize the wallpaper, or pan/zoom it. and if you leave it normal, it will STILL cut off the top and bottom (a bit of it), and when you have it as wallpaper, well, the top and bottom bar also block some of the picture, + that no way to make small clock (when application in standby is none), so you have a big MoFo clock that also blocks some of it.
about EQ, well megabass is ok for me, but when connecting it to speakers, i have to change it bass is too strong

For anyone interested, I've now sorted my fring (and dodgy websites) problem!

The internet wizard on the G900 only seems to download Vodafone settings for WAP rather than 3G (which really isnt clear!). So this is why many websites wouldnt view well, and why fring wouldnt work. After much learning (through googling!) I've now managed to set up my mob for Vodafone 3G... woot!!

Hello all,
Wonder if there's any setting/mod that keep the camera on after we switch it on? currently it will turn itself off after a while.
Also is there anything that can turn on the camera with one button, which mean without unlock and press the camera key, or like the K-series camera cover, once open, camera activated.
Thanks.
