They just detailed the JB update for SII. That's a great job done by Samsung

! I wish sony took a little inspiration in this regard. 2 yrs old, and the phone feels newer by the day.
I know my T will probably be upgraded to like 4.2 max and then it gets too old to run anything new, yet a sub par 2013 device will be able to run it

I'm using AOKP 4.1.2 milestone1 and it's very stable. Stock AOKP kernel.
Had an uptime of almost 23 days until I dropped my phone and the battery jumped out

.
23 days without restart is something. And I've used the phone for internet browsing a lot.

Updated my GS2 to 4.1.2 today and it is running beautifully, how the hell are Samsung the only ones able to get an Android to run so fast and smooth

its on par with my GS3, snappy in every menu and just a blast to use, thoroughly enjoying it, its basically a GS3 Mini but with better hardware than the actual GS3 Mini

Samsung should have just rebranded the GS2 as S3 Mini, the Exynos4210 in this thing still has a whole lot of power by the way its running
Some screenshots:
Loving it, may just use my S2 for a little while and give the S3 a break.

Just like my S II Plus

great in every way with this version of Android. And someone should take a lesson from Sammy's camera expertise :

That's one beautiful shot Rikken
Ps. How refreshing is it to use a more compact version of GS3/Note2?

it feels great, one thing I always loved about S2 was its light weight and compact frame, it just feels right.

yeah, and it is easy to use with one hand

It is still amongst the best Droids two years after its release

Indeed, an iconic Android. Even better than some 2012 flagship Androids at this point.

Yes nice photo & I am thinking of getting the Gs3 Mini by the way. I like it

Seen one for less than 200 quid. No pissing on your phones now
