I think there is much fear to Sony be the best or one of in smartphone world!
I have be in touch with a HTC One X for example and i don't see where its better then my Xperia S in normal day to day use! Also iPhone 4, 4S and 5 and i don't see nothing better!
I don't use the phone to play, only as media player, surfing the web, Facebook and phone itself and i don't see any advantage over my XS. Ok have a bigger display, that's why in 5 days i will have a Xperia Z and i don't need more quality than i have on my 4.3" LCD from Xperia S that's great already, ok i will have a little more pxls.
The one thing i want its better cam, the Xperia S it's very bad, light or no light photos are very poor. My SE Satio it's much better, and battery too, battery on XS it's good for one day at normal use but, on intensive use... hours...

I have to agree too. XS has one of the best cameras of ANY smartphone (of course excluding N8 and Pureview 808) GSMArena and PhoneArena agree as well

I would rather have better black levels than a brighter display.
Both displays are way to bright
