I agree with what Hobbs says but im going to stick to Smartphones i don't EVER want a Java phone again.
@ Wanqa
For SE's sake i hope more networks will start selling W960 and not have the whole P1 thing happen. I read that Vodacom are STILL testing P1 lets hope that doesn't happen with W960.
@ Hobbs
The W960 doesn't even have the shake feature hey.
@ Kyle
Nice man!

, please don't hurt yourself though bro we like you better in one piece lol!

@ Gucci,
Ya, it seems that

's mundane mid-range offerings are 'carrying' their sales targets at the moment.

'Doesnt even have the shake feature.' Well there you go GUCCI,another spec missing from the sheet lol I'm hoping this baby will do me proud and go at least 4 years.I look after my phones really well if i love them. You should have seen my 6680 after a year and a half.Didnt have a stratch.Ive seen people destroy their phones 8 months into there 2 year contracts.Dropping them, stratching the screen ect ect Could never understand them.Dont have a nick or stratch on this P990i.Sometimes I dont know how i do it.its like its got a mental force field protecting it.If theres one thing i hate and that is stratches on a cell-phone screen or a pc monitor.Drives me nuts.

@HOBBS: Finally made my choice...I'm getting a 500Gig external HD...that should sort out my media storage requirements for the next year- I hate writing stuff to DVD.
Wish the format was between Blu-Ray and HD-DVD was over coz we should've had affordable drives by now from which to play Hi-Def content.
And no, I'm not buying any expensive phones:-)

I got a newsletter last week from SE Wangs. They seem pretty happy with their growth and state of affairs.Must be the Cybershot,Walkman and old K-series that keeps them in the race.I still say we all abandon our smartphones and as Wanga says invest in a Sagem.lol

Hobbs, the latest issue of Vodaworld has a particularly insightful article on the Firefly mobile, should you REALLY want to go back to basics

It's interesting that you mention the tea break / lunch break routine. It's a never-ending source of amusement for me to check out the Municipality workers when they pitch up on a site. The very first priority is to get the chow sorted before touching any tools... and when those tools are eventually taken up, much time is spent on leaning on the spade/rake/pick, whilst surveying their surroundings. I think it's a herd instinct thing.
Kyle, nice going there boeta, take it easy though. As stated, we'd rather have you in one piece. It's a messy job removing bloodstains from a regional thread
My departed cuz left behind a box of discs, mostly music, but amongst the trove i found the first season of Rome, 12 episodes in all. I popped the first disc into the dvd player, and ended up watching the lot in one sitting. Would love to watch the second season as well, gripping stuff.

@ Hobbster,
Ya, this unrelenting cellphone industry beast really does conjure love/hate relationships amongst both its devout and wayward followers.
@ da brixsta,
Give it some time and I'm sure we'll soon see more players like LG's new BH100, that can happily play both formats.
At this stage, even for a LG, it's still a pricey piece of equipment.
Look how cheap, for example, DVD recorders have become, compared to a few years ago.
At this stage though, I guess we all know that the 2 formats will still be battling it out for some time to come.
The Blockbuster DVD rental shops around here have decicated Blu-Ray sections in them.

Talking about the municipality,do you notice how the whole year they no-where to be seen and then come christmas they are everywhere in huge numbers,on the side off the roads, cutting grass, cutting and maintaining the trees around power lines ect ect And then you hear the knock on the door and its them asking for their christmas box.You got to love the municipality.
