Check out picture taken at Knysna Quays with the learning channel dude. Had an amazing time in Knysna. If u ever visit there, go to Pezula Estate. Truly world-class. Currently staying at Spier estate in stellenbosch. Really chilled.

Oh nooit; I remember that dude, doing all that Matric maths etc.
Yeah, Knysna rules.
Some rather iffy pics taken in parts of The Houses Of Parliament here; no pics allowed but my P1i seemed to have taken a few and vids pics from obscure angles for some reason...
Couldn't push my luck too much; as you can tell with the first pic, we were carefully watched to ensure that we didn't push our luck with the privilege given to us... weren't allowed to sit on the benches, but able to wander around The House Of Commons and the uber-ornate House Of Lords.
The first is a frame from a (VGA) video clip... The red line on the carpet goes back centuries to when swords were pretty much part of everyday dress, and as the debates between the parties used to get quite heated, with drawn swords etc, the red line meant the furthest one could step forward when in session... and it's still there and recognised today.
That's Gordon Brown's bench on the right:
House Of Lords, the intricate gold detailing above where the Queen parks off in the shakey bottom left corner:
Approaching The House Of Lords:
Above the central area between the two Houses:
Again, sorry for the iffy quality, but they were kinda taken clandestinely, as you can imagine...

Wow Wanqa, damn sweet broer! I can almost experience the pomp and ceremony when i look at those pix. Nice going indeed

Pity that Gordy wasn't around, you could've demanded some R-E-S-T-E-C-P ala Ali G Indahouse
@ Jits, Knysna is a wonderful place, more so because of people like William Smith (the learning channel guy). Sharp as a tack, a successful businessman, but also one of the region's leading lights wrt conservation, promotion of tourism, etc. Truly a fine gentleman. Last time i was there, we had sundowners at Brenton-on-sea. Charming place, most serene. If any of you are passing that way again, stop and sample the cheeses at the roadside stalls.

@ Kryptik,
Ya, we were bloody lucky to actually set foot in both Houses. The public may view parliament in session high up behind bulletproof glass etc if they book well in advance, so the extra treat we had is a bit of a rarity.

@ Jojo,
Yeah, I really wasn't expecting much to come out, with all the moving around etc. BTW, finally had a look at those 2 Zedge video links. That dude in the first one is just crazy, riding like that with no proper riding gear etc, but wow, what acceleration!
The Hayabusa is indeed a legendary motorcycle; I rode a full-power one in 2001 and I'll never forget the experience. Phenomenal power.
@ Gucci,
Those pics bring back such memories for me! Ya, that's taken from The Spur alright. We ate there as well when we were last in Knysna.
Damn nice pics...that first one taken from The Spur is very impressive, boet...wow!
