after searching some more in the new i saw that e_plus is a brand, thus i believe my phone is branded. does this mean i won't be able to get a new FW ota? or using SEUS?
is debranding the k800i in wotan allow me to update my FW the next time? thanks.

E-Plus is an operator in Germany if I'm not mistaken...I think you should wait SEUS releases an approval of your new firmware later than the generic one. You can use Wotan and debrand it and then use SEUS in the future. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Is there a way to have that FOTA function in my phone? Or... there's no way?

The issue is on R1CB001 firmware. It is good that the new firmware take care of the issue.

Sony K800 phone contacts multi characters search is not working well.
Eg. type St and the 2nd character "t" did not bring the phone contact names to starting at St... but stays at the Sa... contacts names
Hope Sony can solve this minor issue in the next firmware..

E-Plus is an operator in Germany. The third one in fact. The fact is E-Plus partially brands their phones. You can buy an unrestricted phone still with the start up and shut down screens E-Plus branded, so if your phone is not stuffed with E-Plus crap then your phone is not locked or pointing to E-Plus sites and info can be editied.

Think I found another bug. Doesn't work for me anyways:
Slide open the cover for your camera. Text at the bottom sez "Press 0 for help"....try pressing 0. Doesn't do anything. Also doesn't work opening the camera from the main menu...
EDIT: This is using the standard firmware, not the new stuff.
