Hello All, this forum has been really useful to me with my G900, but I have not been able to find the answers to a few questions I have. Hopefully I am not repeating anything.
First, is it at all possible to program the buttons so that I can go from a particular application to the home screen? I really just need one button that I can press to take me out to the home screen rather than relying solely on the 'back' button. This is especially annoying while listening to music and I want to access another application but I have to hit the back button 8 times to do it. If it's not possible to program it, is there a shortcut? Some combination of buttons or anything like that?
Second, when typing messages, is it possible to go back to edit particular words? Right now, when typing an sms, if you move the cursor back to the last word, it underlines it so you can put it in all caps or title case...but if I want to add an extra letter in the word or something, you have to type the entire word over. Is there a way to avoid this?
Third, also when typing an sms, I have it set to add new words to the dictionary automatically, but it doesn't. I actually have to manually add words into the dictionary, but even then, they're not recognized when I'm typing a message. Is it possible to edit the phone's dictionary to do this?
I've more, but I figured I'll start slow. I'm looking forward to contributing to the discussions in this fine forum.
cheers
D
