to give some support to riderski comments, here is a pic 100% crop from these 2 drivers dm3.5 and mine 3.9, i cant notice any difference just a little on SHARPNESS but this is not due QUANTIZATION TABLE values just SHARPNESS, DM has 8 and mine has 4
BTW notice size pic is almost DOUBLE but it doesnt affet at all on image quality, thats why i didnt set a higher buffer size, i rather have more spce to music videos and photos than waste space for nothing at least nothing notable for my eyes

Let me ask your advice .. I want to take the best quality pictures with the least amount of manual configuration.
What driver, and camera settings would you recommend for general outdoor and indoor use?

ok, I will try out your new driver, and post some pics.
one more question.. in your new driver.. I see you removed night mode for video, and replaced it with cif video.
is the night mode a valuable feature that I will miss now that it is gone?
