Bjerky, while you're here you may want to wrap your laughing gear around a stubby or schooner of Cascade Autumn Amber. It's a limited edition beer by the Cascade brewery in Tasmania, but is available in Melbourne and other parts of the country (usually bottle shops or specialist pubs). It just won the title of World's Best Amber Lager at the World Beer Cup 2004. I just put an article about it in the
Australians where are you? thread.
I tried it the other week and it's a really good drop - sure to cure your broken heart (tell us what the heartless girl did to you, bjerky.)

do you know where she went? i guess backpacking isn't the easiest thing for developing a social life.
you can do either one of two things:
1. follow her (unless she made it clear you shouldn't do that), but be aware she may also have just been treating you as a "fling" of sorts. of course, after only two days this option might be considered a little extreme.
2. go out and do your darndest to have a good time over the weekend. there's a lot of fun to be had in this here town.

Yeah thanks mate. I cant be hopeless since i did meet a girl who did speak english as the mother language. And i still managed even tho english is my second language.
