I am not sure that all the facts you are including belong to Hikaro. I think some of them were meant for the upcoming Xperia Device which Pop Lover said will 100% be released this year?

Would be sweet if I was wrong though

I hope this phone will be announced in the next announcement

Thanx Pop Lover, But which way does it slide? Is it a down slider??

If it's gonna be UIQ it means it will have QVGA resolution. Unfortunately, according white papers it's the maximum resolution is supports. But what if it will have UIQ4?? The only other option is Windows Mobile...

@Phoner
You're right. The only thing mentioned was VGA recording.
But I expect it to be 30fps.

@Bider
UIQ3.3 doesn't need to be UIQ4 inorder to support higher resolutions. All is needed is a quick fix (note UIQ3.3 is still at beta stage). Probably it will just be 240x400 (like samsung i900 omnia) so that existing applications will run with its proportion intact.

But my vote is for windows mobile because it supports much higher resolutions.

Another possibility is a much shorter device with standard 320x240 (like Samsung armani)

@idumbakumar
I agree! dpad is very important

I don't understand the point of removing the D-pad, particularly if you dont have regular alphanumeric keys (but rather a qwerty keyboard of sorts) because it is necessary for so many java apps, why remove it, particularly when UIQ 3.3 boasts a java standard fullset, too.
