As for the errors, have you tried setting the COM ports manually? and this might sound dumb but try disconnecting the phone from cable, stopping all connection activity an then connect phone again. I had problems connecting when i had my 68i, but that always did the trick.
Im also guessing your using RS232 to Ericsson cable, nothing other?
Everone else: I cba to read today, and have a feeling i havent missed a great deal anyway
