registry cleaners are evil unless you know how to work them
ive deleted my sound drivers once or twice with registry cleaners

well i'm still no closer to figuring out whats gone wrong. is there nothing i can do to fix this? Everything else on the pooter seems find sound and video still work.... can access some random sites like that curries link up there...? And lime wire is fine if not a bit slow....

Hmmm... Thinks have changed today. It seems i can connect for about 20minutes no problem but then suddenly everything goes tits up. I reboot and all is ok again for 20minutes or so?
Any ideas?
I've already tried a system restore to a week ago but it made no difference? My rooter is constantly cnnected all through this. All the right lights are on.

paul not everyone can get linux to install not everyone can get drivers to work it is not a option for everyone, some people cant cope with out certain ms products,
how about when you re-install burgaz you make say a couple of gig partition through the windoze cd and install the os separate then you have a diff partition for your data and prog's if it happens again
