I'll sell it next year then
I hate the N96 it looks so cheapley MADE!
my pal has it, it doesn't do nothing for me at all,
ok it's a whole new platform phone but when they made the N95-1/2 atleast they used better materials for it.
the N96 is also cursed with bugs present and that V11 SW isn't yet available to all Product codes.

Ive a question im sure you lot can answer..
do I ditch my N95-2 for a 5800 sometime next year or await a better one from Nokia ?
I remember reading you don't use your N95 8GB regularly atm, so it's probably in as new condition.
I'd keep it a while longer then, some interesting phones are coming up, this way you have time to see, whether they live up to the expectations we have, when we read their specs on paper, or turn out to be a disappointment, like the N96 is to many of its owners.
When one of them then really turns out to be great, it still pays, to wait : it'll have less bugs and will be alot cheaper

.
When you like the Nseries, I'd wait to see if there's any sign of a touch-screen Nseries phone coming in the near future.
Compared to E and Nseries' Symbian phones, Xpress Music phones are a bit "simple" imo

.
I think it's best to wait a few months and buy a new phone other then buy one off the shelf thats cursed with errors at first.
ive had my N95-2 from SW 11 ive never had any errors at all with it,
much as I keep updating it I hate Version 30 the phone screen goes blank when turning it on for 30secs it's bloomin annoying after entering pin code etc, it's gotta be some bug which am not amused about
I have started re-using my phone btw for about 1month now

Yeah, V30 seems to have a few glitches, many people also don't like the "online sharing" thingy in the standby screen.
Our N95-1 still is on V21, aslong as it's working ok, I think I'll leave it this way.

I don't mind the "Online sharing" thats also on the N96,
thing that annoys me is that gap on bootup lol
I would downgrade the firmware if i could but it's just not possible apparentley
I might try re-installing it again later on this week see if it solves anything

What model are you talking about (OS 9.1/FP1/FP2)? Are you running the latest f/w version on your phone?
Open SecMan and turn off the security platform, install the game from your computer, turn it back on and start N-gage.

N98 ?
Fitted with a 7.2 mega pixel camera that includes Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and built-in Xenon flash, the Nokia N98 camera even supports 8x optical zoom and 40x digital zoom.
With this in mind, the 3.5 inch 540 x 480 VGA touch screen is perfect for viewing and editing images or browsing online, editing text and replying to emails.
Videos on the other hand are recorded at 60fps with a resolution of 720 x 576 and include 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom functions.
