My parents come from Sliema.I took my wife there for the first time a few years ago and she fell in love with the place.We were treated like royalty everywhere we went (having a Maltese surname helped!)But you will find the Maltese love the British anyway.
Have a great time mate...and take lots of photo's for us all to see and take lots of sun cream (35C+ this time of year!!!).
@ bobby77... where are you on the island mate....and don't say your on Gozo as its one of my favourite places in the world. There are'nt many places where everybody can leave their key's in the front door with no worries whatsoever!
@bathers... Yes, its a very fine 'boat' indeed.
all the feedback i've heard about the Tower so far has been very good and people can't wait for it to open (end of August).
