I don't understand how this pic is at all confusing! In the teaser pic, u can see the volume rocker to the left of the power button, and the flap to the right, EXACTLY like the leaked side profile pic. There can be no mistake about that! Therefore, the front of the phone is to the top of the image.

the power button like on previous xperias is pointing downwards, meaning the back of the device and this seems to be the case here with the top of the image the screen and the bottom being the back. So the purple might just be the glass on the front reflecting the light, or more likely a coloured bezel around the screen for either black, white or purple. Although I am probably wrong, will be interesting how the final design will look.
If anything, perhaps EVleaks will have a full press honami photo soon

1 - is obviously a flap covering ports or slots.
2 - is definitely the volume rocker
power button is on the same position, only the shutter button is in the dark at the teaser image and not visible.
