@dragon7 - that was me returning the 3870 i bought 2 days ago. Mobile1 didn't replace my unit but they offered to bring it to the distributor & it would take 3 days pa (its not there policy daw to replace it in the store, I gotta bring it to compaq tomorrow.... buti pa electroworld, they will replace your unit right away aslong as you got it from them less than 1 month... after that strait to compaq). Shucks the hastle talaga.... considering that I have been buying stuff from mobile1 since it first opened... I got 3 palms from them in the past plus accessories.... I even promote them to friends looking for gadgets

My 3870 seems to have a battery factory defect....
When I opened the box at home the unit's screen was on but it did not respond so I had to reset it. Also the unit was very very hot. I tried to do an initial charge but after 6 hours, it was only 5% full.

@dragon7 - toshiba e750 looks like a great unit but considering how they priced the e310 here, I bet it would also be overpriced. I don't think I would buy anything in Mobile1 anymore (at least for now), I should have just bought my ipaq in electroworld (same price pa).

The e310 was overpriced because the local distributor wanted to go against the iPAQ. As VP of the local Pocket PC user group(aside from being the Pres of PSEUG), I met with them to help them understand what Pocket PCs are all about. Seems that theyre too proud to understand. If only they priced it well, it could have been a Palm killer. According to them, they will only bring in the higher end models(like the e740 w/ builtin WiFi) if the e310 is successfull. Isip ko nalang na good luck nalang sa kanila.
Mobile 1 prices are high becuase they have to make up for the cost of the area they are renting.
About the iPAQ, if you need to have your unit serviced, go to their service center in Peninsula Court building. The people there are more accomodating. You can even keep your unit while they are still looking for a replacement.
