Hi, any of you having problem with the display? Mine was becoming dimmer and dimmer after a month. Will be okay after reset but that will only good for an hour or so. Sometimes that too didn't work. I returned to the SE and it has been 6 days still no news from them.
cheers

Hi all,
Only got mine a couple of days ago so not sure of the firmware and no way of checking but yes i can skip tracks on my M600 no problem. Was slightly dubious about the quality but must confess to being pleasantly surprised 75% volume is plenty loud enough for me. Have just left the equaliser on preset and not even found the need for Megabass even listening to Snoop Doggy Dog the sound is awesome. In fact it sounds better through the headphones than my Alpine head unit in the car very pleased with it and the M600i with the latest firmware.

This is probably because your PC is does not support the A2DP profile for music streaming. You are getting only mono sound quality.

As I posted a min or so ago, forget it with iTunes unless your computer via BT supports the A2DP profile. As for Skype, it works like any other BT headset.

hi sapporobaby,
thanks for your reply.
my laptop bluetooth stack definitely support a2dp. it's a widcomm stack version 4.1.
i'm able to get the sound through ok from a stereo perspective. it's just that i think the bass on ds970 is way overkill. even with minimum to no bass set on WMP i'm getting quite a lot of bass in my headset. don't get me wrong i love bass that's one of the reason why i bought this headset but when the bass are not transfered correctly it just sound muffled.
anyway, judging from your comment i take it u have no problems with a2dp with laptop.
u think a firmware update for ds970 will help?
