Its a shame, sounds like they put the W900 loudspeaker in it. Had it had a decent 2 mpix cam with af and a decent (w810) loudspeaker it would have been a different matter and I would have got one. Oh well, more money to save I suppose! lol

I got my hands on this phone today.
I was very nice! The semi-auto slider did feel nice!
I only got my hands on the phone for like 2 minutes, but it feelt really nice in my hand. Perfect size, maybe a little to thick, but not so much.
It was black, and looked great.
But, Iīm not going to get this phone, I think I buy the M600 when itīs out. But the buttons on the M600 was small! (I have tested the M600 also)

I donīt work at SE, and I almost donīt know anyone working there, but at my work many customers works at SE and likes to show new phones! And I like that very much!

When I think of it, I have had these phones in my hand:
K800, K510, M600, P990, Z550, W850 Itīs unbelivable for a non SE-worker.

Just wanted to share some good thougts of the W850!
Cheers!

@mobilebear.

Lucky you!

How would you describe the k800i compared to the k750i, does it feel a lot bigger?

@goldenface

The K800 feels a little bit bigger than my K750. Itīs hard to describe the difference, but most noticable I thougt of was the added height.
Personaly I donīt like the bulky lens cover either.

It lookes great in reality thoug. Especially the front cover.

I prefer thin handsets, and loves functions, thats why I should get the M600.

Back to subject:
I didnīt think of the W850 as a nice phone when I firstly saw some photos of it, but in reality, and especially when holding it in my hands and trying the slider, I liked it more and more.
Maybe get one as a second phone?
I couldnīt try the software at all, because it was VERY buggy. The owner of the W850 should have shown me a funtion of the media player I think he said, with flashing lights on the keyboard and so on, but the phone didnīt want to do as he wanted. It wasnīt that stable if we say so.

The back cover I thougt was strange in photos, but I didnīt notice it strange at all in reality. Good job SE.

Lets hope SE will make a cybershot version of this phone! That will be cool! There are too many Walkman phones ( W800,w810,W550,W900,W950, W710, W850), and only a k800/k790 cybershot model so i think that pretty soon will appear more Kseries models

Let's hope they make a version of this that's been on a diet... Come on SE, everyone else is making nice slim phones these days!

I don't think those dimensions are too bad considering its 3G : -

W850i - 98 x 47 x 21mm

W810 - 100 x 46 x 19.5mm

The D800 is 5mm slimmer but also 5 mm wider and just as tall but isn't 3G.

Though it would be interesting to see if can come up with a slim phone.

Eldar say there will be now more MS Duo PRO phones after this model.
