HOLLAND 2 - 1 IVORY COAST

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4853046.stm

"With this second win by the narrowest of margins, the Netherlands advance to the last 16 alongside Argentina. Debutants Côte d'Ivoire put on another fine show but when they travel home after their final match against Serbia and Montenegro they will reflect on the costly goals conceded early in their first two games."

MEXICO 0 - 0 ANGOLA

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4853058.stm

"Angola collected their first ever FIFA World Cup point with a courageous display and still have a chance of making the second round. Despite creating few clear chances, Mexico, on four points, are nevertheless well positioned to qualify with the fixture against Portugal still to play."

Why be offensive? Just because I love and have a passion for something that many millions of other people worldwide from all different cultures share, are you not being offensive to them also? Besides why should anyone have the right to offend and victimise me or any others just because many millions and I have a love, passion, interest and take a pride in the biggest, greatest and most popular event and sport in the world? For I'm sure you love your cat... should you now be offensive to yourself? Should you now be offensive to the many billions of people on Earth who take a pride, love and passion in something? Should you be offensive towards all of religions and offend Christians, Hindus, Jews, Sikhs etc? All the people who loves sports? All the people who love and care for other people? etc etc...

Many enemies, much glory.

PORTUGAL 2 - 0 IRAN

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/[....]all/world_cup_2006/4853078.stm

"Despite battling bravely all the way and showing much to be proud of, Iran's hopes are crushed with one group game still to go. Portugal, while sure of a spot in the Round of 16, are not yet guaranteed first place in the group with a tough final test against second-placed Mexico still to come. Only pride will be at stake for Iran in their final match against Angola."

Well if you did 'originally' mean it in the way that some people have to go to work, then if thats the case I'm sorry. Still it didn't sound like that.

Although I do want to end this and enjoy what comes only every four years, but just because 'some' people don't work at perhaps the same times the World Cup games are 'live', does that not mean that the peole who are not working at the same times as the games 'live' do not have a life? (Rhetorical question)...

"It is has just made."

I hope Ghana can win today and the USA manage to keep Italy at bay!

I'am sorry if it came out the wrong way. I would love to watch every game like you. Congrats to you if you are free to do so. I can only watch one half in the morning of the first game before going to work and then of course all games on the weekend.
Ghana is in the lead 2:0 3min before the end. A huge upset.
