I joined this forum for some advice. I have an old k800i that I've been using for a few years. For the past week the phone has switched itself off shortly after trying to browse the internet on it. I noticed the battery had swollen and the battery cover has cracked off because of this. I've since replaced the battery with a new one and replaced the housing of the phone. Now, when I switch my phone on it says "Insert SIM" and then switches itself off. Anything I can do?
I've been reading a lot about flashing it, but I'm not sure what firmware I should be using (I'm in the UK). Also, assuming I can get it to work, is there any way of unbranding this phone myself? Thanks...
