Guys, just ordered an upgrade on O2, will get it by the 4th(would be the 11th if i had to change my contract to Vodafone)

So, i checked online on vodafone the other day, and found a contract for £22.50 (with 10% discount from extras) a month, 18 months, 150 mins, 600 texts and the phone was £180.

So i phone O2 today, to see if they could give me a better deal.

I ended up getting a 12 month contract, phone £180, £15 per month, 200 mins, and 500 texts, and i think 1 MB browsing(not great but better than nothing)

This was because i was on a contract with them and upgrading, but its worth phoning around to get the best deal, if you dont mind waiting that little bit longer(after waiting all this time theres not much point wasting money for those extra few days)

Is anyone else having problems with their voda p990? I open a contact in FC and then i go to edit it, when i open the flip it white screens, i leave it and then after a while it goes back to the homescreen. When i go back into contacts its got the edit window open. Weird.

@jackdaniels

this problem has just been fixed for the fully SIM free P990, hopefully the next Voda update will include this fix and others.

I got the phone for £50 on £35 p/m 12 month Voda (in store) contract. 500 free mins and 250 free texts I think (might be 350).

Are Voda usually good at getting the firmware upgrades? Do you have to stick to same tariff for the full 12 months?

Vf are a joke of a company. I have to phone back to see what deal they can do on a P990 as they are out of stock. This happened yesterday as well. Why can they not sort the deal and alocate me a handset when one comes in?

Would still like an answer on above but I went & bought one from Vodafone Meadowhall Sheffield about 30 minutes ago. They had 10 but now down to 3.

Not been in a Voda shop for a while and once I got talking tariffs it felt like I could name my own price!

I ended up having a new 12 month contract at £30 and handset should have been £200 (£180 shown on website) but it let me have it for £100.

He also said that text allowance can be used as data access instead.

9 x £30 + 3 x £20 (lowest price after 9 month) + £100 = £430

Not a bad deal at all!!!

You can change after 6 months if it is a 12 month contract!
