kyxx- it doesent matter, you can update firmware via SEUS, Carphone warehouse is a good place to get from as their handsets are usually unlocked and debranded

Is TD going to update this thread with details? Not seen any posts from him in a while so perhaps hes away?

Onto a question: Anyone else tried zooming the camera and been given a "Zoom not possible in this mode" message?. I have had this on two handsets now (Both Vodafone UK branded with R1ED001 as SEUS doesnt have new firmware yet). If i switch to video camera mode it will zoom. I also have a K800i which uses the same basic internal design and firmware and the camera zooms on this without any message (I know the cameras are different but it still seems odd).

Camera zoom is not available in 2mp mode, it is available if you change photo quality.

hi !

i have a se w850i and i have a problem with the phone while it in "stand by" status. The moment when i slide the phone, the screen sometime flicker before it actually shows the main background. does it happen to you, guys??

and ! how long can u guys listen to the music? i think i gotta buy a new battery cuz i only can hear music for 10hours.

battery life is well more than 10 hrs when you're just listening to music (flight mode)..like around 20hrs
