GoWin, The Infrared Sign when is connected it shows like rays coming out of the original sign, when is not connected it only shows dots.

Thanks for your collaboration,

hmm, i wont bother with that IR icon. it only means both devices are communcating.

make sure it's your PDA that initiates the GPRS session, dont activate the GPRS session from your phone.

i noticed you're online right now. wanna chat on ICQ? that's the only IM i use

bons-my advice to it is try to hotsync it first to back-up the downloaded apps...as for the blazer and web browser, you have to download it again coz maybe there are some corrupted files that cause the error...delete it from your palm and also delete the back -up folder under palm folder in your pc, then hotsync again without the 2 apps to create a new backup, then re-install web browser and blazer again... i also suggest installing palm console so that you can set the bat preferences. .... xiino also is a useful browser,it's like ur using pc. in fact, i'm posting using xiino right now. .. .-it shows i'm online

Got it halfways!
Well my friends, I got to surf with my palm over my phone. That is an improvement!. The downside is that I did it, with my friend's SIM card, however I couldn't even before connect with my friend's phone, so everything comes step by step. In order to do this I had to hard reset my palm (offcourse after a good backup with backup body) and then configure it without any phone driver, it seems that something was making a conflict. nevertheless, I still can't surf with my SIM card, probably because I don't have the internet service, only the wap service, although I will keep trying. Can I modified my SIM card in order to surf the internet?
Thxs for your help, regards,
Q.

today -- after 4 months trying -- I finally surfed on GPRS using my palm (Sony T615) and the Ericsson T39. apparently, voicestream has improved their implementation of GPRS substantially. trick was to use the actual IP address of the voicestream proxy.

email via GPRS still not a success. still, it's progress.

the internet service can only be activated by your SP. though, am not discounting "tricks" or loopholes which some people may have discovered.

but to relieve you from the headache, ask them to activate the full internet service instead of just wap.
