I have loads of different MP3 players and iPods, but now my W980 is my music player. Its better all being one device, and i'll never miss calls or messages again.

Since I have dedicated walkman phones I use my phones as primary media player. My first one was a K750 with W800 firmware, and right now I have a W960. It's so nice to carry only one device which has everything in it. Also with the MMR-70 transmitter I can listen to my music in the car, or wherever I want to. I just love it

I agree, having music that mutes when calls come in is one of the huge advantages of player/phone combo.
Not to mention the convenience of only one device to carry.

The other advantage is only having to maintain one music collection. For example I don't need to update my mp3 cd collection for the car, I can use my phone and a2dp.
All my playlists are the same where ever I go!

I own an ipod mini which has more or less been replaced by my N82.
I love how the N82 allows me to sync with my itunes to create playlists etc but the real bonus for me is N82 allows for shuffling a playlist
At the end of the day i think its just easier to maintain/charge/remember one sole device than it is to carry a few. To me thats the real advantage and the reason i think music phones will continue to challenge the dedicated mp3 player more so.
