Finally even the SE friendly mobile-review site conceded that the N82 is the king of camera.

http://www.mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n82-en.shtml

There a bunch of people pondering over which phone, the Sony Ericsson K850i or the Nokia N82, is the best imaging-centric handset around. I, for one, don’t think there can be two polar opinions – the Nokia N82 is the one. Speaking in its favor are a conventional camera cover, and thus its always-clear lens. Its flash module is mounted in the way that, in contrast to the K850i, you can’t put you your finger on it should such necessity arise. Shooting with the N82 is a snap almost in any environments, even in winter with thick gloves on, whereas the K850i’s button were deaf to our touches, so we had to take gloves off and feel the chilly breath of winter. On top of that, the quality of flash and final images are superior in the Nokia’s product, and, let’s be honest, snaps made in similar conditions, while comparable, seem a tad clearer and more vibrant when taken with the N82. All in all, the Nokia N82 comes out on top in this battle.

I'll think we will be expecting plankgatan to declare the m-r review is bullcrap and that he has proof that K850 is better by reposting his (often shrunken) photos again...sigh

the flash pictures from N82's samples looks so blurry and compressed. similar to the issue i saw a while in GSMArena's K850 vs N82 flash test. and when i saw the Exif data the ISO is boosted at level 800. G800 and K850's christmas tree pictures looks darker but they are not so blurred and the details even in darkness were more pure and well defined compared to the useless details on N82s "although it appears bright". no wonder why all Xenon based phones(Viewty, K850, and G800) seemed looser in brightness compared to the overpraised N82 xenon lamp. as always Nokia loves to make tricks and this flash trick is one of them and is not acceptable among all digital camera users. i don't know why GSMArena was so impressed with N82's flash pics while it's so blurred and compressed.

I think your eyes are playing tricks on you. I dont blame you if you deliberately chose not to see.

Flash picts from m-r review clearly shows K850 is the one that is blurred. N82 flash pict is obviously superior with its clarity and vibrancy. K850 ones are just blurred and noisy.

very good review, indeed :lol
eldar is totally confused, he's saying that k850 only records video in QCIF 15 fps and that there is no lens cover a reliable review, indeed

Then i think you should also open up your eyes to the thing i was pinpointing just look at the links you provided earlier and tell me it's not blurry and compressed

Anyway did eldar posted flash pics taken from N82 from a distance similar to the one provided by the sites you've provided earlier

and anyway i like your primitive approach of diverting attention from the point i want to be cleared out. after showing us some links and bragging out that your N82 ruled K850 flash pics and after then someone queries his observation then you diverted his attention to look at the other thing to complement your arguments and abandoning your earlier claims without a more defined and justifiable statements to answer.

Are you having trouble with your eyes?

My 850 is as blurry as the one in the comparison test:

Incidentally, if you take that hideous blurry photo from the K850 I just posted above, and shrink it to 800 x 600 like Plank does to demonstrate his love of SE, then this is what you get:

Just goes to show you can't evaluate the camera from an 800 x 600 shrink down.
