Steve Litchfield has a good video review of the S2, most of which I agree with from my 2 weeks of ownership, especially the slow USB charging which I thought must be just me.

Surprising to see how much damage a simple drop does to the housing though. You'd think phones were tougher these days.

Guys I thought all phones charged much slower on USB than on direct electrical power.

@ masseur, so are you happy with the gs2 overall? obviously, there are always improvements that could be made, but my wife is more than happy with hers, tho she finds it quite hard to grip with one hand...as far as pc charging goes, all the symbian handsets and androids ive owned have taken upto two hours to charge...may see if there's one of those charge plates available my gs and the wifes gs2...

I'd go as far as saying its the best phone I've had since starting on iphones!
during that time I've had a few androids including the desire.

I find myself browsing and messaging on the S2 due to the screen size, and doing the rest on the iphone. I still haven't found a single "itunes like" solution to get music, videos and video podcasts onto the S2, let alone manage their removal again once watched etc etc. Android still has a way to go for matching that experience, unfortunately, otherwise I could be totally converted.

If only the iPhone 4 has a larger screen! (fingers crossed for iPhone 4S/5!)

I wondered whether you had replaced the iPhone with the Galaxy S2, wondered which one you thought was a better phone.

Price-tag reveal today and it incredibly damn cheap one for sim free unit IMO, only 620 USD

With such a powerful beast hardware, my personal guess expect around 750-770USD for minimum but that's marketing!
