But after set up i´ve noticed two dead pixels! when screen is black there are 2 bad pixels (white) in the middle...

This is very bad

On my Xperia U I can see the digitizer under sunlight but only when screen is off. Is it same on the P?? I had same thing with Ray & Walkman live you can see it like small dots

Got my Xperia P last night. Excellent in the hand and it looks and feels high end. Old Android is running very smoothly, no hardware complaints at all. Its not possible to live with the screen at full brightness, you'd go blind. Its at 60% with the backlight on (I assume that's the WhiteMagic). Next to good quality white paper its white, compared to other devices you see more blue or some yellow, for me the white looks white overall. I can't comment on the battery yet but I have my eye on it. Someone asked about the light strip earlier. It only really highlight the button parts, its not as bright as the U or S but it works. Very pleased with the device.

For those interested in checking it out, there's one in O2 Shop in Oxford Street, London.

If anyone knows of other shops with the Xperia P available around London please let me know, as I'd like to hold the handset in my hand and that's not possible in the O2 shop (only playing with the screen).

Ah I see. I would love to see the sharpness and screen clarity. Sony's 480x854 screens are good enough but QHD or HD would be amazing with BE. Think the P will be my next phone to save for and have my Xperia U as a spare

The LED is so weak that you can only really see the icons glow but I think its meant to be like that. Anyway, over at XDA they have found out how to alter the brightness on the Xperia S LED strip so I imagine that they could do the same for the P.

Looking at the screen, the blacks don't look too deep but in the gallery, there are some pre-loaded images which look incredible and in that the black looks perfect. Maybe its the Bravia doing its bit. I've had to put the brightness down to 50%, 60% was too much for me

48 hours with no charge, light usage like texts, quick internet browsing and some games. It'll be put through its paces at work tomorrow.
